Facts: Our story

Aarhus 1900 Atletik/Motion have been awarded the honour of hosting the European Masters Athletics Championship Stadia (EMACS2017).

This consists of competitions in all athletic disciplines spanning more than 11 days, hereof 10 event days during the summer of 2017.

The last athletic discipline during EMACS will be the European Championship in Half Marathon, Sunday the 6^th August 2017. The European Athletics Association (EAA) has approved that the Half Marathon is to be an open race event, where non-EMACS competitors can compete simultaneously with EMACS.

Aarhus 1900 Atletik/Motion have been organizing half marathons since the middle of the 1980s, and therefore have great experience and expertise with this distance.
